(to wit) Elizabeth Broughton< no role > Aged twenty
one years & upwards Upon Oath saith that
she never was Married, that she lived as an hired
yearly Servant with Mr Cook the Silk Dyer facing
Essex Street in the Strand in the parish of St
Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex & Liberty
ofof Westminster for about Eighteen Months at the
yearly Wages or Seven Guineas that she quitted the
same about Eighteen Months ago, & Since hath obtained no other legal settlement And this Deponent
further saith upon her Voluntary Oath that she is now
pregnant with a Child or Children which is or are
likely to be Born a Bastard or Bastards & to become
chargeable to the said parish of St Clement Danes
And that Thomas Caery< no role > otherwise Carey< no role > [..] now or late a
footman to Mr Cocker in Nassau Street Soho is the only
real & true father thereof he having had Carnal
Knowledge this Deponents Body sometime in April
Last & at several times since and having begotten the
same thereon And the Deponent further upon her said
Voluntary Oath Saith that other person save & beside
the said Thomas [..] Caery otherwise Careyis thehas
ever had Carnal knowledge of this Deponent's Body
