30 Years and upwards upon her Oath
saith that she never was Married, that she lived
as an hired yearly Servant with Mr.. John
Matthews
< no role > at the Porter's Lodge belonging to Clements
Inn in the parish of Saint Clement Danes in
the said County and Liberty, about 18 Months, at
the yearly Wages of Six pounds, that she quitted
that Service about 21 Months ago, & hath not (by
any means whatever) acquired any Subsequent
legal Settlement; And this Deponent further on
her Oath saith that on the twelfth day of June last
she was delivered of a Female Bastard Child
at the House of Thomas Turner< no role > in the Parish
of Norton near Taunton in the County of
Somerset [..] who hath not yet been Christened,
That one William Pearce< no role > (wholivesworks as
asa Journeyman atMr Deacona Plumbers
near the End of Berwick Street next Oxford Road
as this Deponent believes,) is the only real &
true father thereof And that he and no one else
hath had Carnal knowledge of her Body &
begotten the said Child (of which she was so
delivered as aforesaid) thereon And that she is
unable to support herself and said Child
