to wit Ann Simpson< no role > This name instance is in set 641. This set is in the group(s): MothersCD . aged about 32 years upon
her Oath saith that she never was married that she
has lived as a hired yearly Servant with Mr. Mortimer
at the New Inn Coffee house in Wych Street for
these Eighteen Months past at the yearly Wages of
Six Pounds And further this Examinant upon
her Oath saith that on the Second day of March 1787
she was delivered of a Male Bastard Child in Old
Boswell Court in the Parish of Saint Clement
Danes which hath since been Christened by the
Name of George< no role > That one George Battray< no role > a
Musical Instrument Maker who did lodge at
Mr. Criggs in Orange Street Leicester fields is the
father thereof he having had Carnal knowledge
of this Examinants Body and begotten the said
Child of which she was so delivered as aforesaid
and that he is the only real and true father
thereof
