to wit Alice Warren< no role > aged about 17 years
upon her Oath saith that she never was
married That she lived as a hired yearly
Servant with Mr. Pollard in Old Boswell
Court in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes
for Twelve Months and upwards at the
yearly wages of Four Pounds that she
hath quitted said Service about Nine
Months since which time she hath done no
Act Matter or thing whereby she might have
gained a subsequent Settlement And further
this Deponent upon her Voluntary Oath saith
that she is pregnant with Child or Children
which is or are likely to be born a Bastard or
Bastards and to become Chargeable to the said
Parish That one James Woodford< no role > a Tallow
Chandler who lives at No. 57 Charles Street< no role >
Westminster is the father thereof he having had
carnal knowledge of this Examinants Body and
begotten the said Child or Children of which she
is now Pregnant and that the said James
Woodford
< no role > is the only Real and true father thereof
