to wit Sarah Vaughan< no role > aged about 22
years upon her Oath saith that she never
was married That she lived as a hired
yearly Servant with Mr. Briggs in Clement Inn
for 18 Months at the yearly Wages of 5 Guineas
That she hath quitted said Service about Four
years since which time she hath not lived as a
hired yearly Servant for Twelve Months or done
any Act Matter or thing whereby she might have
gained a subsequent Settlement And further
this Deponent upon her Voluntary Oath saith that
she is pregnant with Child or Children which is or
are likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards and
to become Chargeable to the said Parish That one
Wm. Wright< no role > a Blacksmith who worked in Liquor
Pond Street but has been at Sea ever since May
last she not having seen him ever since is the
father thereof he having had carnal knowledge
of this Examinants Body and begotten the said
Child or Children of which she is now pregnant
and that the said William Wright< no role > is the only
Real and true father thereof
