to wit Catherine Naish< no role > aged about
TwentyfourThree years upon her Oath saith
That she never was married That on or
about the Eighth day of April now last past
she this Deponent was delivered of a Male Bastard
Child in the Workhouse belonging to the Parish of
Saint Clement Danes which hath since been
Christened by the Name of John< no role > That one John
Broad
< no role > who did lodge at Mrs. Willis's opposite the
Dover Castle on the Narrow Wall Lambeth and
now works near the same place is the father
thereof he having had Carnal knowledge of this
Examinants Body and begotten the said Child
of which she was so delivered as aforesaid and
that the said John Broad< no role > is the only Real and
true father thereof
