to wit Mary Day< no role > aged about 26
years upon her Oath saith that she
never was married That she lived as
a hired yearly Servant with Mrs. Berry in
Stanhope Street in the Parish of Saint Clement
Danes in the Liberty of Westminster for Sixteen
Months at the yearly Wages of Six pounds that
she hath quitted said Service about Seven years since
which time she hath not lived as a hired yearly
Servant for Twelve Months or done any Act Matter
or thing whereby she might have gained a subsequent
Settlement And further this Deponent upon her
Oath saith that sheon or about the sixth day of
November 1792 she this Deponent was delivered
of a female Bastard Child at the House of One
Mrs. Hanlon in Bennetts Court in the said
parish which hath since been Christened by the
Name of Mary Ann< no role > That one John Wright< no role > a Glazier who
did live in Stanhope Street and now lives as she
believes at No. 52 Lambeth Marsh is the father
thereof he having had carnal knowledge of this
Examinants Body and begotten the said Child
of which she was so delivered as aforesaid thereof
and that the said John Wright< no role > is the only Real and true father
thereof
