to wit Elizabeth Bell< no role > aged about
Twenty years upon her Oath saith that
she never was married That on the
Second day of October Instant she this Deponent
was delivered of a [..] Male Bastard Child in
the Workhouse belonging to this Parish That one
which hath since been Christened by the Name
of James< no role > that one James Carney< no role > who now
lives as she is informed with Mr. Card at the
Oxford Coffee house in the Strand is the father
thereof he having had carnal knowledge of
this Examinants Body and begotten the said
Child of which she was so delivered as aforesaid
and that the said James Carney< no role > and no
other Person did beget the same and that he
is the only Real and true father thereof
