to wit Sarah Love< no role > aged about 33 Years
upon her Oath saith that she never was
Married that she lived as a hired yearly servant
with St. George Thomas at Deal Park in Sussex
for Twelve Months and upwards at the yearly
wages of Thirty Guineas that she quitted said
Service about Two years since which time she
has done no Act to gain a subsequent settlement
And further this Deponent upon her Oath
saith that on the 9th: day of December 1795 she
this Deponent was delivered of a Male Bastard
Child at the Grange Inn in Carey Street in the
Parish of Saint Clement Danes which hath
not as yet been Baptized That one Richard
Webster
< no role > who lives as a Footman to one Mr
Lewis in Devonshire Place is the father thereof
he having had carnal knowledge of this
Examinants Body and begotten the same thereon
and that he and no other person did beget the
same and that he is the only real and true
father thereof and that this Deponent is poor
and unable to maintain such Child without
Assistance from the said Parish of Saint
Clement Danes
