to wit Sarah Tarrant < no role > aged about 31 years
upon her Oath saith that on the 9th. day of
July 1788 she Intermarried with John
Tarrant
< no role > her late Husband who has been dead
about four years at the Parish Church of Laleham
That she hath no Child or Children living by her
said late Husband That before her Intermarriage
to her said late Husband and whilst she was
a Singlewoman she lived as a hired yearly
Servant with Mr. Corbett at No. 92 in the Strand
in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the
County of Middlesex and Liberty of Westminster
for Twelve Months and upwards at the yearly
Wages of Eight Guineas that since she quitted
said service she hath not lived as a hired
yearly Servant for Twelve Months Rented any
House Tenement or Lodging of Ten pounds a year
paid Taxes or done any Act Matter or Thing to
gain a subsequent settlement And further this
Deponent furtherupon her Oath saith that on the
16th. day of October 1794 she was delivered of a
Male Bastard Child in the Licensed House in
Water Lane fleet Street which hath since been
Christened by the Name of Matthew< no role > That one
Frances Spencer< no role > a Post Boy at the White Hart
at Windsor in the County of Berks is the father
thereof he having had Carnal knowledge of
this Examinants Body and begotten the same
thereon and that the said Frances Spencer< no role > is the
only real and true father thereof
