Reputed Father

(to wit) Margaret Jones< no role > singlewoman aged
twenty three [..] years or thereabouts upon
Oath saith that she never was Married that she
lived as an hired yearly Servant with Mr. Davis
of No. 6 Clements Inn in the parish of St.
Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westminster in
the County of Middlesex for about two years at
the annual Wages of six pounds or thereabouts
that she quitted that service about three years ago
and hath not since lived as an hired yearly
Servant for a twelve month together or done any
other Act Matter or thing Wtsoever Whereby to
obtain any subsequent legal settlement And this
Examinant upon her Voluntary Oath further
saith that she is now pregnant with a Child or
Children which is or are likely to be [..]
born a Bastard or Bastards and to become
chargeable to the said parish of St. Clement Danes
when Born And that Charles Baylife< no role > who now
Works as a Journeyman with Mr. Ford Box
Maker in the Minories London is the real father
of the said Child or Children wherewith she is so
pregnant as aforesaid he having had carnal
knowledge of this Examinant's Body first in or
about the Month of December last and at Several
times since at some or one of which times he did
