to wit Susannah Demaine< no role > aged about
47 years upon her Oath saith that about Twenty years ago she
Intermarried with John Demaine< no role > her
late Husband who has been dead about four
years at the Parish Church of Saint Clement
Danes That her said late Husband was an
Irishman and never gained any Settlement
in England that previous to her Intermarriage
with her said late Husband and being a
Singlewoman she lived as a hired yearly
Servant with Mr. Fulker at the White Horse in
the Strand in the Parish of Saint Clement
Danes for near Five years at the yearly Wages
of Six Pounds that after she quitted said
Service she never Rented any house Tenement
or Lodging of Ten Pounds a year paid Taxes or
done any Act Matter or thing whereby she
might have gained a Subsequent Settlement

Sworn this 26th.
day of July 1798
