to wit William Slemaker< no role > aged about 50
years upon his Oath saith That about Three years
ago he Intermarried with Jane< no role > his present wife
at the Parish Church of Saint Clement Danes
That previous to his Intermarriage and whilst
he was a Singleman he lived as a hired
yearly Servant with Mr. Dawson who kept the
Sign of the Cock and Bottle in the Strand in
the Parish of Saint Martin in the fields in the
Liberty of Westminster for about Fourteen
Months at the yearly wages of Ten Guineas
That he hath quitted said Service about
Thirty years since which time he hath not
lived as a hired yearly Servant for Twelve
Months Rented any house Tenement or
Lodging of Ten Pounds a year paid Taxes or
done any Act Matter or Thing to gain a
Subsequent Settlement.
