to wit John Leonard< no role > aged about
53 Years upon his Oath saith that on
or about the 17th. day of November 1791 he
Intermarried with Christian< no role > his present
wife at the Parish Church of Bethersden in
the County of Kent by whom he hath one
Child living Vizt. James aged Three years
That previous to his [..] Marriage with
his present wife and being Single he lived as
a hired yearly Servant with Danby Pickering< no role >
Esqr . in Boswell Court in the Parish of Saint
Clement Danes for Three years at the yearly
wages of Fourteen Guineas that the last forty
days of his said Service was in Boswell
Court aforesaid where he was discharged and
that after he quitted said Service which is
about Eighteen years ago he never lived as a
hired Yearly Servant for Twelve Months
Rented any house Tenement or Lodging of Ten
Pounds a year paid Taxes or done any Act
Matter or thing where by he might have
Gained a subsequent Settlement

Sworn this 19th.
day of Decr. 1795 }
