to wit Sarah Smith< no role > aged about 43 years upwards
her Oath saith that in the year17671777 she Intermarried
with Thomas Smith< no role > her late Husband at the Romish
Church in Dubbin by Licence according to the Rites
and Ceremonies of the Church of England That her
said Husband has been dead upwards of Six years
That her said late Husband Rented [..] unfurnished
Apartments of a Mrs. Stringer in Little Shire Lane
in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the County
of Middlesex and Liberty of Westminster upwards
of Three Months at the yearly Rent of Eleven Guineas
that he quitted said Apartments about Thirteen
years ago after which he never Rented any house
Tenement or Lodging of Ten Pounds a year paid
Taxes or done any Act Matter or thing where by
he might have gained a Subsequent Settlement
And further this Examinant saith that since
her said Husbands death she has not Rented any
House Tenement or Lodging of Ten pounds a year
paid Taxes [..] ever lived as a hired yearly
Servant for Twelve Months or done any Act
Matter or Thing whereby she might have gained
a Settlement in her own Right
