to wit Ann Simons< no role > aged about 40
years upon her Oath saith that in the year
1785 She Intermarried with Daniel Simmons< no role >
her late husband at the parish Church of
Saint Mary Lambeth That her said late
Husband Served informed this Examinant
that he Served Seven years Apprenticeship
to one Mr. Ford a Mathematical Instrument
maker in Crooked Lane in the parish of Saint
Michael in Crooked Lane in the City of London
and that after he was out of his said
Apprenticeship he never Rented any house
Tenement or Lodging of Ten pounds a
year paid Taxes lived as a hired yearly
Servant for Twelve Months or done any
Act Matter or thing whereby he might
have gained a subsequent Settlement
