a lodger at the House of Mr Ellams in Ship
Yard in the parish of Saint Clement Danes in the
Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex
aged 56 years or thereabouts Upon Oath saith
that he was Married to his present Wife Elizabeth< no role >
at the parish Church of St Leonard Shoreditch
on or about the 29th. day of August 1779 that he
hath no Childrennow living that he servedhisthree years
and a half or thereabouts as an Apprentice under
Indentures to Mr William Rand< no role > Peruke Maker in
St Clement's Church Yard in the parish of St Clement
Danes and lodged and boarded in his said Master's
House during such Service that he left him by consent about the year
1756 and hath never since Rented any House or
Apartment of £10 a year lived as an hired yearly
Servantwithor done any other Act Matter or
thing whatsoever whereby to obtain any subsequent
legal Settlement to the best of this Examinant's
knowledge Information or belief
