Margaret Maule< no role > Aged about Seventy Years on
her Oath Says she is the Widow of Robert Maule< no role > who
has been dead about Twelve Months and with whom she
Intermarried at the Parish Church of St. Botolph Aldersgate
about Twenty Eight Years ago Says her said Husband was
a Native of Scotland and never gained a Settlement in
England to her Knowledge or belief either by renting House
paying Taxes or living a hired Yearly Servant for one Year
Says that before her said Intermarriage with her said late
Husband and whilst she was a Singlewoman she lived a
hired Yearly Servant with one Mr. Ord a Staymaker in
Round Court in the Parish of St. Leonard Foster in the
Liberty of St. Martin le Grand upwards of Two Years
at the Yearly Wages of five Pounds hath quitted her
said Service upwards of 28 Years ago and hath not since
she quitted the same or since her said Husbands Death
ever Rented House paid Taxes or lived a hired Yearly
Servant for one Year.
