Sarah Haynes< no role > Aged about 25 Years on her Oath says she never
was Married nor ever Rented House or Paid Taxes says she lived
a hired Yearly Servant with General Whitmore in the Parish
of Lower Slaughter in the County of Gloucester for 5 Years at the
Yearly Wages of Five Pounds Five Shillings hath Quitted her
said Service about Four Years ago & hath not Since she quitted
the same ever Rented House Paid Taxes or lived a hired
Yearly Servant for one Year And further upon her Voluntary
Oath says she is Pregnant with Child or Children which is or are
likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards and to become Charge-
able to the said Parish of Saint Clement Danes she being
Poor and unable to Maintain the same when born Says that
one Butler Powell< no role > a Journeman Glover who Lives at one Mr.
Linghams at Somerset Watergate had Carnal Knowledge of
her Body on the Sixth Day of May last at the House of her
Mother in Fryar Street in the City of Worster and at Sevl.
times afterwards at one of which times he got her with Child
of the Child or Children with which she is now Pregnant
and that the said Butler Powell and no other Person did beget
the same
