Pleasance Coker< no role > aged about Twenty Seven Years
on her Oath Says she never was married and that she
now lives a hired Yearly Servant with Nehemiah
Spicer
< no role > in Fountain Court in the Parish of Saint Clement
Danes in the County of Middlesex Seal Engraver and
hath so done upwards of Two Years and a Quarter at
the Yearly Wages of five Pounds And further upon
her Voluntary Oath says she is Pregnant with
Child or Children which is or are likely to be born a
a Bastard or Bastards and to become Chargeable
to the said Parish of Saint Clement Danes she being
Poor and unable to Maintain the same when born
Says that one Robert Bates< no role > a Taylor who lives in
Bird Street Grosvenor Square had Carnal knowledge
of her Body the latter end of December 1768 and on
the first day of January last past at one of which
times he got her with Child of the Child or Children
with which she is now Pregnant as aforesaid and that the said
Robert Bates< no role > and no other Person did beget the same
