Elizabeth Brand< no role > Singlewoman aged about six & Twenty
years upon her Voluntary Oath says that she is Pregnant
with Child or Children which is or are likely to be Borne a
Bastard or Bastards and to be Chargeable to the Parish of
Saint Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westminster &
County of Middlesex where she now Lodges she being Poor
and unable to maintain the same when Born and
saith on her Oath that one Hugh Hallmark< no role > a Servant
to a Brewer had carnall knowledge of her Body some-
time in the Month of May 1766 & at Severall times
afterwards at one of which tines he Gott her with
Child or Children with which she is now Pregnant and
That the said Hugh Hallmark< no role > and no other Person
Did beget the same

voluntary Oath saith she never was married, and that
on Whitsunday last past she was delivered of a Female
Bastard Child in her then house in Bennetts Court in
Drury Lane in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes
in the Liberty of Westminster which hath since been
Baptized by the name of Hester< no role > : and says that one
