Sarah Davis< no role > Aged about Twenty six
Years, upon Oath says she never was Married, and
that on the Eighth of September Instant she was
delivered of a Male Bastard Child in the House of
one Mr. Powers in Ship Yard in the Parish of St. Clement
Danes in the Liberty of Westminster and County of Middx
which hath been Baptized by the Name of John Baskerville< no role >
Says that one John Baskerville< no role > an Auctioneer who lives in
Stanhope Street in the said Parish of St. Clement Danes
is the reputed Father of the said Male Bastard Child
he having had carnal knowledge of her Body sometime
in the Month of December 1767, and at several times
afterwards, at one of which times he got her with Child
of the said Male Bastard Child of which she was
delivered as aforesaid, and that the said John Baskerville
and no other Person is the true and real Father thereof
