Frances Squibb< no role > Aged about
Twenty Four Years, upon Oath says she never was
Married and that on the Thirtieth day of November
1766, she was delivered of a Male Bastard Child in
the house of Mrs. Staveley in Wych Street in the
Parish of St. Clement Danes in the Liberty of
Westminster and County of Middlesex which hath been
Baptized by the Name of John < no role > , Says that one John
Brent
< no role > a Copper plate Printer who works with Mr.
Lewis in Houghton Street in the said Parish of St.
Clement Danes is the reputed Father of the said Male
Bastard Child he having had carnal knowledge of her
Body the beginning of March 1766 and at several times
afterwards at one of which times he got her with Child
of the said Male Bastard Child of which she was delivered
as aforesaid, and that the said John Brent< no role > and no other
Person is the true and real Father thereof

Sworn the 6th. day of
August 1768 , before} Thos Kynaston< no role > .
