Jane Higgins< no role > Aged about Twenty seven
Years, Upon her Voluntary Oath says she never was
Married and that on the Seventh of October 1766,
she was delivered of a Female Bastard Child in the
house of Mr. Trotter in Stanhope Street in the
Parish of St. Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westmr.
within the County of Middlesex which hath been baptized
by the Name of Ann < no role > ; says that one John Cummings< no role > a
Journeyman Carpenter is the reputed Father of the
said Female Bastard Child, he having had carnal
knowledge of her Body sometime in the Month of
February 1766, and at several times afterwards, at one
of which times he got her with Child of the said Female
Bastard of which she was delivered as aforesaid, and
that the said John Cummings< no role > and no other Person is
the true and real Father thereof
