Sarah Davis< no role > Aged about Thirty six Years
Upon Oath says she never was Married and that she lived
a hired Yearly Servant with Mr. Edwards at a Bacon Shop in
Newgate Street in the Parish of Christ Church London for
Six Years at the Yearly Wages of Six Pounds, quitted same
about Twelve Years ago, and never after Rented Ten Pounds
a Year, paid Taxes or lived a hired Yearly Servant for one
Year; And further upon her [..] Oath says that on
the Twentieth day of May 1764, she was delivered of a
Female Bastard Child in the House of Mr. Gaywood in Whites
Alley in the Liberty of the Rolls in the County of Middlesex
which hath been Baptized by the Name of Bethia< no role > , says
that Leonard Keeve< no role > now a Pauper in the Rolls Workhouse
did beget the said Female Bastard Child on her Body
of which she was delivered as aforesaid, he having had
carnal knowledge of her Body several times at one of
which times he got her with Child of the said Female Bastard
Child, and that the said Leonard Keeve< no role > and no other Persons
is the true and real Father thereof
