was never Married and that she lived a hired Yearly Servant with Evan
Jones
< no role > a farmer in the Parish of Newtown in the County of Glamorgan
in South Wales for one Year & Upwards at the Yearly Wages of three Pounds
quitted said Service about Seven Years ago and hath not since Rented house paid
Taxes or lived a Yearly hired Servant for one Year And further upon
her Voluntary Oath says, she is pregnant with Child
or Children which is or are likely to be born a bastard or
bastards and to become chargeable to the Parish of Saint
Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westmr. in the said
County of Middx where she now lodges she being poor
and Unable to Maintain the same when born; says
that John Cokayne< no role > an Attorneys Clerk in Lyon's Inn
had Carnal Knowledge of this Examinants body some
time in the Month of January 1766, and at several time,
Since at one of which times he got her with Child of the
Child or Children with which she is now pregnant
and that the said John Cokayne< no role > and no other person did
beget the same.
