says she was never married and that she lived a
hired Yearly Servant with Mr. Fairweather the
Crown Alehouse in Essex Street in the parish of St.
Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex for One
Year and upwards at the Yearly Wages of Six pounds
hath quitted said Service about Nine Months and
hath not since Rented house or paid Taxes And
further upon her Voluntary Oath says
she is pregnant with Child or Children which is
likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards and to become
chargeable to the said parish of St. Clemt. Danes
she being poor and unable to maintain the same
when born says that James Crisp< no role > This name instance is in set 2063. who keeps the
Rose Alehouse in Cursitors Street Chancery Lane
had carnal knowledge of her body on the 7th. day
of January last and at sevl. other times since at one
of which times he got her with Child of the Child or
Children with which she is now pregnant and
that the said Jas. Crisp< no role > and no other person did
beget the same;
