Sarah Brooks< no role > aged 70 Years and upwards Lodging
in Clement's Lane in the Parish of St. Clement Danes in
the County of Middx upon Oath saith she was Married to
Thomas Brooks< no role > at the Fleet about the Year 1714 whom
she believes to be Dead as she has not heard of him for
several Years says her said Husband hath informed her
That he was bound an Apprentice by an Indenture for Seven
Years to Mr. Stoneystreet a Farrier in Nightingale Lane in
Red Cross Street in the Parish of St. Botolph without
Aldgate in the County of Middlesex Londonand with his said Master there served
about Two Years, then intermarried with this Examinant
and Inlisted for a Soldier That he never rented a House
or Tenement of Ten Pounds a Year or paid Parish Taxes
also says the said Mr. Stoneystreet hath informed her
that her said Husband served him as an Apprentice two
Years.
