Lillystone's in Greyhound Court in the Parish of St. Clemt.
Danes in the County of Middx. Upon Oath says she is
the Wife of Wm. Wykes< no role > who is now at Sea by whom she has
3 Children (Vizt.) Mary< no role > aged 4 Years Elizth.< no role > aged 2 Yrs. &
Rebecca< no role > aged four Months Says he said husband
informed her and which Information she verily
believes to be true that before his Intermarriage
with this Examinant and whilst he was a Single
Man he lived a hired Yearly Servt. with Barnaby
Backwell
< no role > Esqr. in Norfolk Street in the Strand in the said
Parish of St Clement Danes for two Years and Upwards
at the Yearly Wages of £8 and continued to live with Mr Backwell
under the same hiring after his said Marriage for One
Year and upwards says her said husband after he quitted
Mr Backwell's Service Never Rented Ten Pounds a Year
or paid Parish Taxes to this Examinants knowledge or
belief.
