Mary Patterson< no role > Singlewoman upon her
Voluntary Oath saith that on the 24th- Day of
February last she was delivered of a Male
bastard Child at the House of one Mr. Molloy in
the Butcher Row in the Parish of St. Clement Danes
in the County of Middlesex which hath since
been baptized Charles-& is now living & likely to
become Chargeable to the said Parish & further
upon her Voluntary Oath saith that one Mr.
Charles Welch< no role > Wine Cooper in Cambridge Street
near Carnaby Markett did begett the said Child
on her Body she this Examinant at such time
liveing a Yearly hired Servant with Mrs Welch
the Mother of the said Charles Welch< no role > where he
became acquainted with her & had Carnall knowledge
of her Body severall times in the latter End of
May or beginning of June last in the House of
the said Mrs Welch in Cambridge Street aforesd. at
one of which times he gott her with the sd. Male
bastard Child which she was delivered of as aforesd. &
that he the sd. Cha: Welch< no role > & no other Person is the true & real
Father thereof
