Eliza. Appleyard< no role > Wido . of Thomas Appleyard< no role > upon her
Oath saith that on or about the 23d Day of July 1728 she
intermarried with her said late Husband Thomas Appleyard< no role >
at the Parish Church of St. Andrew in Holbourn who hath
been dead near Two Years that about 12 Yrs- since her said late
Husband lived in & rented a House over against Surry Street in the
Strand of the Yearly Rent of Thirty Six Pounds for the Space
of one Year or thereabouts that since he loss the said House her
said late Husband in his Life nor this Examinant since his
Death never rented ten Pounds a Year paid Parish Taxes
lived with any Person as a Yearly hired Servt. for one Year
or otherwise gained a Settlemt. in any other Place to her
knowledge or beleife that she hath Two Children Thomas< no role >
aged 12 Yrs- & mary< no role > aged 8 Yrs- & being Poor is not able to
maintaine them
