Eliz: Cox< no role > Singlewoman upon her Voluntary Oath
saith that she is pregnant with Child or Children which is
likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards & to become Chargeable
to the Parish of St. Clemt. Danes she being Poor & not able to
maintaine the same when born and that one Stephen Moore< no role >
did begett the sd. Child or Children on her Body this Examinant
lodging at the House of one Mr. Thomas in Elbow Lane in
Thomas Street and the said Stephen Moore< no role > lodging in the same
House there became acquainted with her & had Carnal knowledge
of her Body sevell.. Times in the latter End of the Month of
June last and at sevell. other Times since at one of which Times
he gott her with the said Child or Children with which she is
now pregnant & that he the said Stephen Moore< no role > & no other
Person is the true & reall Father thereof.
