The Examination of Mary Melvell< no role > who upon her
Oath saith that abt. Twelve or Thirteen Years since to
her now best Remembrance she being then a Wido - &
not haveing any Child or Children lived a Yearly hired
Servt - with one Mrs- Russel in Boswell Court in the
Parish of St. Clemt- Danes in the Liberty of Westmr -
for the Space of 2 Years & upwards at the Yearly Wages of
Seven Pounds & hath not since she left the sd- Service
rented Ten Pounds a Year pd. Parish Taxes lived with
any Person as a Yearly hired Servt. for the Space of one Year
or otherwise gained a Settlemt- in any other Place to her
knowledge or beleife & being Poor is not able to maintaine
herselfe
