The Examination of Margt< no role > . the Wido . of Robt- Hartley< no role > aged
abt. 40 Years taken the Day of June 1741 Who upon her
Oath saith that on the 15th- Day of June 1729 she intermarried
with her sd. late Husband Robt. Hartley< no role > at the Fleet London
& further saith that her sd. late Husband was bound an Apprentice
to & served his Time with Mr.at the Golden Key in Whitch
Street in the Parish of St. Clemt. Danes Taylor & further upon
her Oath saith that neither her sd. Husband in his Life Time nor
she since his Death ever rented Ten Pounds a Year pd. Parish
Taxes lived with any Person as a Yearly hired Servt. for the Space of
one Year or otherwise gained a Settlemt. in any other Place to her
knowledge or beleife & being Poor is not able to maintaine herselfe
