The Examination of Elizth. Fooron< no role > Spinster Lodging in the
Parish of St. Clement Danes in the County of Middx Taken
the 26th. Day of April 1740 Who upon her Oath saith that
she was Born in White hart Yard in the Parish of St. Martin
in the Fields in the Liberty of Westmr . that she Cannot give
any acct. of the Settlemt. of either her Father or Mother but
saith yt. her Father & Mother both Dyed in the Workhouse
belonging to the sd. Parish of St. Martin in the Fields and
yt. she this Examint. was in the same Workhouse same time
in the Year 1733 she at such time not being Capable of
maintaining herselfe And this Examint. further upon her
Oath saith that she never Rented £10 a Year was an
Apprentice lived with any Person as a Yearly hired Servt.
for the space of one Year or otherwise gained a Settlemt.
in any other Place to her knowledge or beleife That
she is now Poor & Sick & not able to maintaine herselfe
