Ann Warren< no role > aged abt. thirty Years upon Oath says
she was never married says she lived a Servant with
Mr. Wade at the Chop house in Butcher Row in the
Parish of St. Clemt. Danes in the County of Middx. for
seven years says Mrs. Wade agreed with this Examt.
that if her Vails did not amount to Six Pounds a
Year she would make up the deficiency & hath quitted
said Service about Seven Years; says that some-
time in the Month of September 1750 she was delivered
of a Male Bastard Child which is Baptized William< no role >
in the house of Mrs. Winter-in Butcher Row in the
said Parish of St. Clement Danes And that in the
Month of July 1753. she was delivered of another
Bastard Child in the house of Mr. Brotherton in
Houghton Street in the said Parish of St. Clemt.
Danes which is Baptized Joseph< no role > which said bastard
Children are both living and she being poor is not
able to maintain them and further saith that one
Joseph Smith< no role > a Baker did beget the said Bastard
Children on her Body & that the said Joseph
Smith
< no role > & no other Person is the true & real father
thereof
