Court in the Parish of St. Clement Danes in the County
of Middlesex upon Oath says she was never married
says she lived a hired Yearly Servant with Mr.
Hewetson an Apothecary in the Parish of Hexam
in the County of Durham for one Year at the Yrly.
Wages of fifty five Shillings & hath quitted her
said Service abt. one Year & a half & further upon
her voluntary Oath says she is pregnant with
Child or Children which is likely to be born a
Bastard or Bastards & to become Chargeable to the
said Parish of St. Clement Danes she being poor
& unable to Maintain the same when born says
that John Ross< no role > This name instance is in set 2043. of Surry Street in the said Parish
of St. Clement Danes Perukemaker had Carnal
knowledge of this Examinants body the latter End
of February & the beginning of March last about
of which times he got her with Child of the Child or
Children with which she is now pregnant & that
he & no other person did beget the said Child or Childn.
