Sarah Skillem< no role > This name instance is in set 3660. Aged about 38 Years upon Oath says She is
the Widow of Matthias Skillem< no role > and that her said late Husband
rented a House in Peter Street Clare market upwards of Ten
pounds a Year for several Years and that he lived therein till the
time of his Death Says She hath not since his Decease Rented
a House paid Parish Taxes or lived a hired Yearly Servant for
one year Says that on the 15th. day of Febry 1755 She was married
at the Savoy Chappel to James Allen< no role > This name instance is in set 2025. a Taylor but this Examinant
hath since been informed the said Marriage is a void Marriage
And further upon her voluntary Oath Says She is pregnant with
Child or Children which is likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards
and to become Chargeable to thesaidParish of St. Clement Danes
She being poor & unable to maintain the same when born and that
the said James Allen< no role > who now lives at the Horse and Groom in
the Parish of Hackney did beget the said Bastard Child or
Children of which She is now pregnant he having had carnal
Knowledge of his Examinants Body on the sd. 15th. day of Febry
1755 & at several other times since at one of which times he got her
with Child of the Bastard Child or Children of which She is now
pregnant and that the said James Allen< no role > & no other Person did
beget the same

Sworn the 10th. Day of May
1756 before} Tho Lane< no role > .
