Elizabeth Davis< no role > Aged about 25 Years Upon Oath saith She
is the Widow of Thomas Davis< no role > and that her said late Husband hath
been dead about four Years Says She is pregnant with Child or Children
which is likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards and to become
Chargeable to the Parish of St. Clement Danes in the County of
Middlesex where She now Lodges She being poor & unable to maintain
the same when born Says that one Thomas Smith< no role > a Merchant who
lives in Nevill's Court Fetter Lane in the Parish of St. Dunstan
in the West London had carnal knowledge of her Body at a publick
House in Holborn (but the Sign She cannot now particularly
remember) Sometime in the Month of May last at which time
her got her with Child of the Child or Children of which she is now
pregnant
