James Dowell< no role > upon Oath Saith he is the Son of
John Dowel< no role > by Ann< no role > his Wife (both deceased ) and
that he was born in the parish of Goldington in the
County of Bedford where his said late father lived in
and rented a house of £3 by the Year, that he can give
as Account of the Settlement of his late father or mother
and that he (this Examint.) never was an apprentice
or yearly Servant for one Year nor did he ever Rent ten
Pounds by the year or pay Parish Taxes
