Alice Jenks< no role > Aged abt. Twenty five Years Upon Oath says she
was never Married and that she lived a Yearly Servt. with Mr.
Gibbison, in Hemlock Court in the parish of St. Clemt. Danes for
one year & upwards at the Yearly Wages of five pounds & hath
quitted her sd. Service abt. Seven Months and further upon
her Voluntary Oath Saith that she is pregnant with Child or
or Children wch is likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards.
and to become chargeable to the sd. parish of St. Clemt. Danes
she being poor & unable to maintaine the same when Borne
Says Wm. Bending a peruke maker did begett the sd. Child or,
Children on her Body haveing had Carnall knowledge of her
in the month of June [..] last at the house of Mr. Saml.

< no role > in the Butcher Row in the sd. parish of St. Clemt. Danes
where this Examinant then Lodged & at Sevll. other times
since at one of wch times he got her with Child of the sd.
Bastard Child or Children with wch she is now pregnant
& that he the sd. Wm. Bending< no role > & no other person is the true &
reall father thereof
