upwds. of Seven Years ago that he was bound apprentice
by Indenture dated the 5th. Octr. 1738 to Joseph Staymaker< no role >
a Blacksmith & lived with him as his apprentice in
Barnaby Street in the parish
of St John Southwark in the County of Surry about two
Years & then the sd. Rd. Phillips< no role > this Examint& his sd. Master parted by
Consent & he never was assigned over to any other
person nor ever rented ten pounds a year paid parish
Taxes or lived a yearly Servant for one year
