Ann Watts< no role > aged abt. 24 Yrs. upon Oath saith
she never was married and that she rented a house
of the yearly Rent of Twenty two pounds in Drury Lane
in the parish of St Clemt. Danes lived therein upwds.
of Three months & has left the sd. house abt. 6 months
Since which she has not rented ten pounds a
Year or pd. Parish taxes And this Examinant further
upon her Voluntary Oath saith she is pregnant
with Child or Children which is likely to be born a
bastard or bastards and to become chargeable to
the aforesd. Parish of St Clemt. Danes she being Poor
& unable to maintain the Same when born and that
William Stringer< no role > Gent did beget the sd. Bastard
Child or Children on her body. the sd Wm Stringer< no role >
having had Carnal knowledge of this Examinant in
the latter End of June or in the beginning of July
last and at sevl. other times since at one of which times he got her with Child of
the bastard Child or Children with which she
is now pregnant and that the sd. Wm. Stringer< no role >
