Apprentice for Seven Years to Jno: Mortimer< no role > a
Perukemaker and after having Served him four
years & about Six Months his sd. Master absconded
& this Examinant was discharged from his Indenture
by the Quarter Session whereupon he hired himself
to live with Mr Knight a Perukemaker for the remaining two Yrs. and
Six months unexpired of his first Indenture and lod [..]
all that time in the sd. Mr Knights house [..]
opposite Surry Street in the Strand in the parish
of St Clemt. Danes in the County of Middx. and
had for his sd. Service by Agreement Six pounds
dyet washing & Lodging Says he never (since
he left Mr Knights Service) rented ten pounds
by the Year paid Parish taxes or lived a yearly
Servant for one Year
