Dorothy Jennison< no role > upon Oath saith she never was
married and that on the 9th. Day of June 1751 she was
delivered of a female bastard Child in the house of Mrs.
Galloway [..] a Pen maker in Hannover Yard Oxford Road
in the parish of St Mary le bone in the County of Middx since baptized Mary< no role > which
sd. female Child about ten Weeks age was dropt in the
parish of st Clemt. Danes middx & has since been maintained
at the Charge of the Inhabitants of the sd. parish
and this Examinant further maketh Oath that
Richard Payne< no role > a Bricklayer is the reputed father of
the said Child the sd. Rd. Payne< no role > having had carnal knowledge
of this Examinant several times in the month of Septembr.
1750 & at sevl. other times afterwards at one of which
times he got her with Child of the said female bastard
Child of which she was delivered as afsd. & that the
said Richard Payne< no role > & no other person is the true
and real father thereof
