to wit Elizabeth Hurl< no role > aged 64 or thereabouts
upon her Oath Saith That she intermarried with
George Hurl< no role > at the Parish Church of Saint George
the Martyr Southwork about 34 Years ago That
her Husband deserted her about Eighteen Years
ago, That her Husband was a Seaman and never
did any Act to the best of her knowledge whereby he
might have gained a Settlement That she does not
Know where he now is not having heard of him for
above 15 years That she has been informed by
her said Husband and by his Relations at Shepton
Mallett and which information she believes to be
True that his Father was a Clothier of Reputation
and Credit there, and kept a large House which
was his own property, and carryed on
Considerable business in the Manufacturing
Line at Shepton Mallet aforesaid, that
