to wit Dennis Daniel Bowers < no role > aged 32 years or
thereabouts upon his Oath saith that he never was
Married
rented a House or paid [..] Taxes served
any apprenticeship or ever lived as an Hired yearly Servant
for one year And this Examinant further saith that
that he was born in Old Boswell Court in the
Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex
where this Examinant's father rented a House [..]
[..] of above £10 a year that his father died
in the said House upwards of 20 years ago that
since his said Fathers Death the this Examinant
hath been to sea and was in the Workhouse of Saint
Clement Danes in September last and that he
never did any act Matter or thing whereby to the
best of his this Deponents knowledge Information or
belief he may have gained a Settlement elsewhere
than in the said Parish of St Clemt Danes
