Oath Says she never was married Rented House or
paid Taxes Says she lived a hired yearly Servant with
Thos. Needham< no role > Esqr . in Boswell Court in the Parish of St.
Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westmr . for two years at the
Yearly Wages of Eight Pounds hath quitted her said Service about
Six years ago since which time she hath never lived as a hired
Yearly Servant for one year And further on her Voluntary
Oath says she is Pregnant with Child or Children which
is or are likely to be Born a Bastard or Bastards & to become
Chargeable to the said Parish of St. Clement Danes (she being
Poor & unable to maintain the same when born) And further
says that oneTyne a Cabinet Maker & who also keeps
an Earthen Ware Shop facing the New Tavern in
Kensington is the Father thereof he having had Carnal
knowledge of her Body in the House of Mrs. Haggett her late
Mistress in Kensington Gore sometime in the month of
April last but the Particular Day she does not remember
and at one other time afterwards at one of which time
he got her with Child of the Child or Children of which she is
now Pregnant And that the saidTyne & no other Person
did beget the same & that he is the real & true father thereof.
