to wit Joseph Hills< no role > Aged about Sixty One Years
On his Oath Says he Intermarried to his late Wife Hannah< no role >
at the Fleet London about Thirty five Years ago and by
whom he hath no Children living, Says he was bound an Apprentice
to one Mr. Cannon a House Smith in May Poll Alley in the
Parish of St. Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westmr . for the
Term of Seven Years & served his said Master under such
Indenture for three Years & upwards when his said Master
gave up this Examinant his Indentures And this Examinant
further Says that he was afterwards bound to or Covenanted
with John Whitingham< no role > a House Smith near Deadmans
Place in the Parish of St. Mary Oversees otherwise St. Saviour
Southwark in the County of Surry for the Term of Three Years
& an half and after his Apprenticeship or Covenant was out
he never gained any other Settlement either by renting House
or Tenement of Ten pounds P Ann Paying Taxes or otherwise
howsoever.
