Oath says She never was Married Rented House or paids [..]
says She lived a hired Yearly Servant with one William
White
< no role > at the Fox and Hounds at Greens Head Green in
the Parish of Darne in the County of Kent for 2 Years
at the Yearly Wages of Three Pounds hath quitted her on
Service upwards of Two Years ago since which time of
hath Gained no other Subsequent Settlement And furt [..]
on her Voluntary Oath says that on the 29th. day of Ma [..]
Instant She was delivered of a Male Bastard Child in the
Workhouse belonging to the [..] Parish of St. Clement Danes which hath since
been baptized by the Name of William< no role > and is now
Chargeable to the said Parish She being Poor and und [..]
to Maintain the same And further says that one William
Hughes
< no role > a Porter to Mr. Mac Cray Oil & Colourman No: 28
Red Lyon Street White Chapel is the Father thereof
he having had Carnal knowledge of her Body at his [..]
said Mr. Mc. Cray's house the latter End of July last
and at several different times afterwards at one
of which times he got her with Child of the Male Bastard
Child of which She was so delivered as aforesaid & that
the said William Hughes< no role > and no other person did beget
the same and that he is the Real & true Father thereof
